The BSB finale at Oulton Park, 2023
Notes from the season finale at our home circuit — championship pressure, a full paddock, and the motorcycles that caught our eye between sessions.
The final round of the 2023 British Superbike season brought the championship fight to our doorstep, and Oulton Park under title pressure has an atmosphere all of its own. The grandstands were full, the paddock was tense, and the racing did not disappoint.
Between sessions we did what we always do at Oulton — walked the paddock, talked to teams and owners, and noted the machines that will matter to collectors in ten or twenty years. Today's race bikes have a way of becoming tomorrow's most-wanted motorcycles.
It was also the weekend that confirmed how many owners want a single place that stores, prepares and delivers their track bikes. A good deal of what our storage service has become was shaped by conversations that weekend.
